Xinghai Lin, chief designer at Xunlei (Google invested Chinese movie / video content portal), is one of my close friends and college room neighbors who I have partnered with for a couple of projects. We both graduated from one of China’s top 10 universities, XJTU, which is among the 3 most prestigious engineering universities known for rigorous technical training across the country. After getting the bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics and Art Design, he accepted the full-time job offer at Xunlei and has since been working there for 2 years.

Yet another homepage layout candidate. Since the client wasn’t in favor of the 2 layouts, Xinghai went with a whole different one in the final draft. All pieces are solely and completely done by him from scratch. Not convinced? Some more work can be found at the portfolio page.
With tremendous experience in a lot of projects, Xinghai is extremely versatile in a diversity of styles and design genres. He is able to come up with various distinct design ideas for one project. He is familiar with both Eastern and Western web design trends and can gracefully achieve whatever a client asks for in addition to his own improvising and creation.
